Greentrees, a major participant in the local area's FOOD week, offers traditional country hospitality and fare all year round.

There are four eating areas to choose from, depending upon the season.

The sunny dinette is cosy in winter.The formal lounge/dining room is a lovely room in which to enjoy your carefully prepared evening meal.




The terrace is a perfect place to unwind after a week’s work. Guests can enjoy a cool drink and h’or d’ouvres while watching the evening light fade from the valley. My BYO restaurant, The Garden Room, seats 50 - 60 people.


 The Garden Room

Designed so guests feel they are seated in the garden while fully protected from any unpleasant weather variations, The Garden Room offers ambience and delicious fare.

The decor is soft with antique rose, cream and green tonings. Floral drapes, marble tables and comfortable dining armchairs add to the ambience. Crisp, white Battenburg lace place mats are set with polished cutlery, glassware and pretty table appointments and china. In-floor heating keeps the Garden Room cosy in winter and the deep windows keep it cool in summer.

Fresh, local produce is a feature of the restaurant.

Venison, lamb, kid, rabbit, trout (fresh and smoked), poultry (fresh and smoked), are available for guests who enjoy fine food. Scrumptious, old-fashioned deserts (pavlovas, cheesecakes, fruit pies — blackberry and apple for example — rhubarb and apple crumble and sticky date puddings) delight the palate.

Bookings are absolutely essential. So is discussing your favourite foods with Jasmin beforehand, so she can make proper preparation for your personal feast.

What's On at Greentrees

Christmas Parties - October/November/December

Christmas party catering is available on request. As with all special occasions, the room is fully decorated with a 3 metre high Christmas tree. Each place is colourfully set with a Christmas napkin and bon bon. The menus are available from Jasmin. Contact her for the latest menu and prices per person or to discuss your groups particular requirements.
